Vnd das Wort ward Fleisch / vnd wonet vnter vns / Vnd wir sahen seine Herrligkeit / eine herrligkeit / als des eingeboren Sons vom Vater / voller Gnade vnd Warheit. Matt. 1; Luc. 2. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Niemand hat Gott je gesehen / der eingeborne Son / der in des Vaters schos ist / der hat es vns verkündiget. No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

ALso hat Gott die Welt geliebet / das er seinen eingeboren Son gab / Auff das alle die an jn gleuben / nicht verloren werden / sondern das ewige Leben haben. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Wer an jn gleubet / der wird nicht gerichtet / Wer aber nicht gleubet / der ist schon gerichtet / Denn er gleubet nicht an den Namen des eingeboren Son Gottes. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Daran ist erschienen die liebe Gottes gegen vns / Das Gott seinen eingebornen Son gesand hat in die Welt / das wir durch jn leben sollen. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
