Job 5,6-7
Our suffering isn't caused by the failure of crops; it's all part of life, like sparks shooting skyward.
If you obey the Lord, he will watch over you and answer your prayers.

Our Thoughts Are Tested by the Lord A dry crust of bread eaten in peace and quiet is better than a feast eaten where everyone argues.

The start of an argument is like a water leak— so stop it before real trouble breaks out.
The wicked and the proud love trouble and keep begging to be hurt.
It makes you look good when you avoid a fight— only fools love to quarrel.
Patience and gentle talk can convince a ruler and overcome any problem.
It's better to take hold of a mad dog by the ears than to take part in someone else's argument.
Where there is no fuel a fire goes out; where there is no gossip arguments come to an end.
If you churn milk you get butter; if you pound on your nose, you get blood— and if you stay angry, you get in trouble.
There is also a time for love and hate, for war and peace.
